Prime Minister Imran Khan Launches ‘Sehat Sahulat’ Programme For Transgender Community
Prime Minister Imran Khan vowed to provide full protection to the transgender community as the community was neglected by the previous governments.
Addressing the launch ceremony of ‘Sehat Sahulat’ Programme for transgender community in Islamabad, the Prime Minister said, the transgender face many problems in the society and the government takes full responsibility of their welfare.
Imran Khan also lauded the efforts of special assistant to Prime Minister on health Dr Zafar Mirza for taking the initiative.
On Ehsaas Programme, the Prime Minister said, the government plans to expand the programme in the next year to benefit the low-income people.
He said, the government will offer more loans to youth and provide ration cards besides expanding ‘Langar Programme’ across the country in the next year.
On country’s economic situation, the Prime Minister stated that the government made concerted efforts to stabilize economy in 2019 and hoped that Pakistan would progress and move forward in year 2020.
