LAHORE: Former Star Cricketer Shahid Khan Afridi has announced his support for new domestic structure of Pakistan Cricket Board.

According to details Afridi has announced his support for new domestic structure. “Any system needs time to function. This system should be supported. I’m in favour of 6 teams, when you reduce quantity then quality increases. Competition will increase, players will get good money & financial support. I’m hopeful good talent will come out of this” Afridi said.

Reportedly, According to new domestic structure sixteen regions have now been absorbed into the newly formed association. The Balochistan Cricket Association includes Dera Murad Jamali and Quetta. The Central Punjab Cricket Association includes Lahore, Sialkot and Faisalabad. The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Cricket Association is made up of Peshawar, Abbottabad and FATA.

The Northern Cricket Association includes Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Azad Jammu-Kashmir. The Sindh Cricket Association comprises Karachi, Larkana and Hyderabad. The Southern Punjab Cricket Association is made up of Bahawalpur and Multan.
